We are currently recruiting for a Fee Earner / Litigation Assistant to join our Enforcements based in Liverpool. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about the work they do, the service they provide and getting the best results for their clients.
The role involves the conduct of debt recovery and enforcement matters from cradle to grave. Once an ongoing matter has been settled or Judgement has been obtained, you will assume conduct of the file to recover any outstanding debt effectively and efficiently whilst liaising with the client to ensure they are informed of the position.

Responsibilities to include:
- Work alongside colleagues across other departments in the business to maximise revenues generated from successful recoveries.
- Ability to be able to progress cases effectively and efficiently in line with client and company service levels.
- Have experience in managing your own significant case load of debt recovery matters.
- Possess a great understanding and knowledge of the Road Traffic Act, Civil Procedure Rules and Pre-Action protocol with the ability to conduct further legal research where required.
- Ability to support, advise and assist your colleagues when needed.
- Handle issues previously settled from issuing a Claim to entering Judgement and commencing Enforcement action.
- Deal with inbound and outbound correspondence and calls.
- Liaise with courts, solicitors, third parties and clients.
- Assess court documents and diarising deadlines correctly.
- Ability to draft a range of court documentation as required including but not limited to: claims forms, applications, witness statements, instructions to counsel.

- Experience in a similar / same role.
- Excellent organisational, timekeeping and attention to detail skills.
- Willingness to learn and develop.
- Ability to proactively manage your time and workload whilst meeting court deadlines.
- Ability to work autonomously and at times as part of a team.
- Ability to work in a methodical manner, reviewing and understanding cases rather than acting in a process driven environment.
- Excellent oral, written and client care skills displaying a professional attitude.
- An ability to work in a fast-paced demanding environment
- Experience of using Proclaim case management system (desirable)
