Jane Bedford is a specialist cycling solicitor and works within the serious injury team at Bond Turner. She brings to Bond Turner over 10 years of experience in cycling law, having launched a dedicated cycling law team in 2013 at JMW Solicitors in Manchester. In 2017 she joined Leigh Day’s cycling team, continuing to represent injured cyclists, further broadening her knowledge of this niche area. She now joins Bond Turner where she will build a dedicated cycling law team to represent their cyclist clients.
Jane is a lifelong cyclist, having grown up in a family of cyclists. She is a club cyclist and uses her bike as her main mode of transport. Being an experienced cyclist gives her valuable insight into the experience of her clients, with a shared perspective, and she is able to speak authentically on cycling, the community and understand the discreet needs of her clients, post collision. Jane is active in her local cycling and walking campaign group, a sub-section of Walk Ride Greater Manchester, which campaigns to make the experience of those walking and cycling in Manchester better by way of improved dedicated infrastructure. She is passionate about improving the safety of vulnerable road users through awareness raising and education.
