Sara Stanger shortlisted for Outstanding Lawyer Award
We are delighted to announce that Sara Stanger, Director – Head of Clinical Negligence and Serious Injury, has been shortlisted for the Outstanding Lawyer Award at the Liverpool Law Society’s Legal Awards.
The Outstanding Lawyer Award recognises a person who might have had a particularly positive impact on the reputation of the profession, shown use of innovation in the law, or have made an unusually significant impact in their practice area or in the service of clients.
This merited recognition of Sara’s work includes the recent high-profile cases of The Covid Healthcare Workers Claims and representation of several families affected by the crimes of Lucy Letby in the Thirlwall Public Inquiry.
Sara is additionally nominated for her work towards the ongoing development of junior staff with the launch and progression of the Anexo Academy.

The winner of each award will be announced at the Annual Dinner taking place on Thursday, 14th November 2024 at the Rum Warehouse, Liverpool Titanic Hotel. This promises to be a special occasion with guest speaker The Right Hon the Baroness Hale of Richmond DBE.
Liverpool Law Society have stated that the competition is fierce with a very high number of nominations submitted in 2024, with entries from individuals, teams, firms, chambers and other organisations across the whole spectrum of their membership.
