Polytrauma Orthopaedic
What is polytrauma?
Unfortunately, in serious accidents, many claimants can sustain what is known as polytrauma. This is where they have been subjected to several traumatic injuries; for example, a traumatic brain injury in addition to a serious orthopaedic or internal injury.
These types of claims can often involve injuries which are complex. When managing such a claim, our team employs a multi-disciplinary approach, i.e. a number of medical experts involved in the claim, and we provide additional services and resources to support victims and their families.
Can you help me with rehabilitation?
Ensuring our clients have access to adequate rehabilitation is our priority when it comes to new clients. We strongly believe in the principles of the Rehabilitation Code 2015 and will put pressure on the other party’s insurers to arrange rehabilitation as quickly as possible.
How can I claim compensation for polytrauma?
If you have suffered multiple injuries due to an accident which was not your fault, our experienced, compassionate personal injury solicitors can advise and represent you. Our service is much more than just legal advice; we can be there from day one of your accident to the very end of your recovery and the compensation process. In the early stages of working with you, we will leave no stone unturned to ensure you have access to a comprehensive rehabilitation programme. And when it comes to fighting your legal case, our firm has three in-house barristers and strong relationships with leading Counsel and KC’s who can represent you in your claim.
If you are unable to travel, we can visit you in the comfort of your home or hospital. You can trust us to undertake all aspects of the compensation claim on your behalf, including providing one of our in-house interpreters if needed, obtaining expert medical evidence, and providing post-accident support and assistance throughout the litigation process.
